Meet Jean-Claude
I am running for office because I aim to represent the marginalized, offering a voice to those often overlooked. I believe there’s room for improvement within the Boston City Council, and it’s crucial that we become a potent force advocating for equitable housing conditions for the underserved in our society. The escalating rents impacting families and the exorbitant property taxes burdening elderly citizens with fixed incomes deeply trouble me. In essence, my main emphasis will be tackling local concerns, with education, housing, and employment emerging as the three pivotal focal points within our city. Leveraging my experience and a proven history of unwavering commitment, I am already poised to effectively lead our diverse and distinctive District.

For more than three decades, Jean-Claude has dedicated himself tirelessly to collaborating with the Boston community to enhance their access to essential social, economic, and legal services. Alongside his active community engagements, he has been deeply involved in various political campaigns and has undertaken extensive organizing efforts. Moreover, his commitment extends further, as he has dedicated the past decade to providing invaluable humanitarian services.
Jean-Claude’s Family
Mattapan holds the significance of being the place where I initially arrived as an immigrant teenager in the city. It’s where I established my roots by getting married, starting a family, and welcoming the birth of my first child. Furthermore, it’s where I’ve successfully operated a small business for the past two decades.
In Hyde Park, I experienced the joys of parenthood again with the birth of twins. This neighborhood also became the canvas for my entrepreneurial endeavors, including the establishment of a restaurant, an insurance agency, and a computer repair store.
Roslindale played a role in my life during the late 80s, serving as my residence during that time. More recently, I’ve returned to Mattapan, becoming a resident once more for the past two years.
